»Handcrafted Tributes« is a three-day festival in Berlin, Germany, taking place November 16-18, 2023 at Boerne Studio and dedicated to the collaboration between Modular Synthesis, Electronic Music and the Stefan Schultze Large Ensemble.

Thus, Max Loderbauer, Rabih Beaini, Oxana Omelchuk, Florian Zwißler, elena kakaliagou, Richard Scott, Michael Vorfeld and Eliad Wagner will collaborate with the Large Ensemble and and Els Vandeweyer & Elena Kakaliagou in artist talks, presentations, sessions and concerts.

After the Stefan Schultze Large Ensemble has spent the last two years developing a program inspired by modular synthesizer pioneer Morton Subotnick, who developed the Buchla100 synthesizer with Don Buchla and composed the groundbreaking 1967 album Silver Apples of the Moon (Nonsuch Records) for it, the festival is another development to bring the scenes together to break down the boundaries between genres.
