Consulting

In consultations, we can answer specific questions about working as an idependet/freelance artistic, project implementation, orientation in the field of funding. Consultations are free of charge and last about 45 minutes, usually taking place via Zoom or at our office.

Simply send us an email stating your needs to info@field-notes.berlin to request an appointment. In order for us to best prepare for your consultation, we ask for a detailed description of your plans. If you are enquiring about project funding, a project description and a preliminary cost plan would be helpful. This information will be treated strictly confidentially.

Project Funding

As part of our consulting, we offer newcomers an introduction to project funding in the field of contemporary music. For the more experienced, we offer specific advice on funding (please enclose a synopsis when requesting an appointment), an application review, and open advice on all issues relating to the acquisition of funding.

Communication

We are happy to help with both urgent questions and long-term planning of communication strategies. We provide information at standard industry rates, create project-based communication strategies, and provide assistance with marketing/PR strategies.

Audience Development

For the development of an individual audience development plan for special projects or for integration into the general approach of your artistic work, it is possible to arrange a personal consultation with Dr. Gina Emerson.

Orientation

This consultation is aimed at transnational artists who are planning to gain a foothold in Berlin's independent contemporary music scene. We provide background knowledge about the working methods in the scene, inform you about relevant funding, and offer networking opportunities. We are also happy to connect you with specific contacts.
