inm – initiative neue musik berlin / field notes invites curators, performers and composers to join a specially designed visiting programme during Month of Contemporary Music in Berlin from 1. – 3. September 2023. 

The Month of Contemporary Music is an umbrella festival curated by the collective Berlin music scene. The festival invites you to discover current works by Berlin ensembles, artists and composers in concerts, performances and sound installations – both in established concert halls and in independent venues.

The visiting programme is designed for professional curators, performers and composers. Participants of the programme will be introduced to chosen Berlin based actors of the contemporary music scene.

The visiting programme includes:

• Various concert visits including the opening concert of the Month of Contemporary Music by Zinc and Copper and Robyn Schulkowsky on September 1st,
• Network events with artists from the Berlin contemporary music scene and preset individual meetings with Berlin actors as well as studio visits
• and more…

In order to best tailor the time in Berlin to the needs of the individual participants, all participants receive a personal consultation before arrival. We also help arrange appointments with actors from the Berlin scene.
