Peter Tracy and Aaron Michael Butler perform a new duo for cello and vibraphone, building on a series of collaborative concerts rooted in the Seattle contemporary music scene. Drawing on minimalism, conceptualism, and 'quiet music', their work focuses on sustained layers, steady-yet-unreleated pulses, and hard transitions.
