CONTOURS I was developed between 2024–2026 and draws on an impressionistic approach. Pearling textures condense, thin, and recede in breathing arcs, opening into images.
The 12 IMPROVISED ÉTUDES are inspired by the late works of Alexander Scriabin and share aspects of his approach to creating sound.
Expressive intensity emerges through harmonic ambiguity, vibrant contrast, rhythmic pulse, and sharp accentuation. The improvised Études are dramatically forward-driven and urgent, oscillating between sensual lyricism and inherent tension.
