Lila Fraysse will perform a solo open rehearsal set.
Lila has been performing for over 10 years as part of the polyphonic dance singing duo "Cocanha".
In Berlin, she will present her first solo form inspired by her research into traditional Occitan music. Lila finds in these sources a poetic language, a political anchor and an infinite source of inspiration for these creations. She will be accompanied for the occasion by a string tambourine, a little karaoke for children and other percussions.
Nathalie Forget will introduce the Ondes Martenot and improvise on it.
Bérangère Maximin will offer a listening session
and more surprises will come…All artists and instruments will be present!
Saturday 31st of August, doors will open at 7pm_ end 10pm
The ensemble will perform together.
Only once, not twice, so don't miss out!
Blind Signal & Liebig12 present a two-part project, covering two territories and involving six musicians and sound artists. The first part focuses on the Occitanie region in south-west France. The artists will have time to meet, research and create in the landscapes of the town of Rabastens, exploring the cultural influences of the Occitan region. In a second phase, the creations made in Occitanie will be reworked and contextualized in the metropolitan territory of Berlin and the desecrated Galiläakirche by the end of August.
A multi-disciplinary curatorial team has been formed by Emilie Beffara founder of Blind Signal Berlin (now based in France), artist and composer Julius Holtz, Allegra Solitude, curator, cultural producer and founder of Liebig12 in Berlin, a studio and creative space based on community values, and Isabelle Picard, cultural administrator.
»Entre les Lignes – Zwischen den Zeilen« is a collaboration among le Ring Scène Périphérique, le COMDT à Toulouse, BlindSignal, Liebig12 à Berlin, jugend widerstandsmuseum-galilaakirche à Berlin and the town of Rabastens.
