Sound Plasma Festival für alternative Intonationen

Sound Plasma is a festival dedicated to music with alternative intonation, in broadest definition of the term. The festival has been happening annually in Berlin and Tallinn since 2017, as a collective of satellite mini festivals.

The 7th edition of Sound Plasma Berlina takes place 24&25 of November at Maschinenhaus of the Kulturbrauerei.

Ensemble for New Music Tallinn will open the Berlin events on Nov 24th, with a performance featuring Georg Friedrich Haas’ Atthis. Followed by the Vortex Ensemble performance of pieces by Alex Mincek, Anna Korsun, Daniel Zea and Fernando Garnero.

On November 25th the saxophone quartet from Basel, Ensemble du Bout du Monde, will perform pieces by Chaya Czernowin, Paul Clift, David Biedenbender, Karin Wetzel, Ariadna Alsina Tarrés and Arash Yazdani. Ensemble for New Music Tallinn will then perform their highly celebrated program from Scrapyard series, with works by Hugo Morales Murguia and Arash Yazdani. On this day we will have a presentation ceremony of Ensemble for New Music Tallinn’s double CD album in collaboration with KAIROS label.
