Different Bombs

With their project Different Bombs, the Marc Sinan Company and Ensemble Resonanz confront the difficult simultaneity of perpetrator and victimhood. In the first part of the evening, a composition by Marc Sinan will be performed. The work is based on the ambivalent eyewitness accounts of his aunt, who both collaborated with the Nazi regime and was affected by the bombing of Berlin. In the second part, the musical piece "Different Trains" by Steve Reich stands for the artistic processing of historical events, including the deportations of Jews, and the musical treatment of documentary language material.
