Giving space to culture

Kultur Büro Elisabeth organizes and coordinates a wide variety of cultural events in the Villa Elisabeth, St. Elisabeth Church and other buildings of the Protestant parish on the Weinberg in Berlin-Mitte and ensures the preservation of these buildings.

We support and accompany artists and institutions in the realization of their events and sometimes also acts as co-organizer.

When selecting the program, which the Kultur Büro Elisabeth choses together with the municipality's cultural committee, artistic quality is a basic requirement. There is no commitment to specific artistic disciplines, genres or repertoire, although there is a focus on contemporary productions and music.

The projects that take place in our venues are, with a few exceptions, not concepted and financed by us, but are all carefully selected and supported, and we are also involved in many projects as a cooperation partner, providing advice on content and financial support. We initiate new projects and bring protagonists together.
