Hošek Contemporary was founded by Petr Hošek in Berlin in 2016. The spaces of the gallery (Exhibition space, Performance space and the Apartment of the residency programme) are located on the barge MS Heimatland. The ship is located on Fischerinsel in Mitte, Berlin. The gallery focuses primarily on site-specific installations, art performance and experimental sound art. Between spring and summer, the gallery hosts weekly improvised and experimental music installations with local and international artists.

Due to structural conditions, the boat has limited accessibility. However, the organiser will provide accessibility assistants to facilitate access.
