BETTINA JUNGE is a founding member of the ensemble mosaik. During her study of the flute she developed a keen interest in contemporary music and free improvisation. Through her work with ensemble mosaik and others, she aims to develop and explore new approaches to performance practice.

ERNST SURBERG is a founding member of ensemble mosaik. Following his studies in piano, he began an intense examination of contemporary music. In the context of cross-genre collaborations, Surberg started composing and premiered several works of his own.
