In Les disparations, the audience circles the performers and experiences a listening situation that lies halfway between concert and installation. How does a sound disappear? Does it leave room for silence? What is it replaced by? When we became aware of its disappearance, how long has it been missing? Is the sound an illusion: maybe it never existed? These questions constitute the raw material explored by composer Sébastien Roux and the three musicians of the ensemble Thymes.
