DARA String Festival

Dara String Festival crosses genre boundaries by bringing together renowned international artists from different musical backgrounds. The festival days inspire new thoughts and ideas towards the advancement of individual and collective artistic work. The third festival edition will present a variety of solo and ensemble music ranging from early contemporary to experimental, improvised and electroacoustic music. The program will include the world premieres of works by Clara de Asís, Anna Korsun, Harold Budd and Viola Yip, alongside compositions by Rebecca Saunders, Marc Sabat, Helmut Lachenmann, Karlheinz Stockhausen and original works/improvisations by the artists.
