"The tracks on this album have been conceived over the last five years during various musical tours and backpacking trips throughout the United States, and in particular during my two week artist residency at Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado, in April 2019. The compositions are all related to intense spiritual encounters, experiences, dreams and revelations that have occurred over the last years." (Adam Goodwin)
ADAM GOODWIN is a double bassist, composer, and visual artist. His musical approach places a heavy emphasis on physical gesture and spontaneity, along with a conscious consideration of the particular space and context in which the music is taking place. As composer and interpreter, he strives to return to a primordial mode of expression which places the highest priority on the individuality of the performer and the spontaneity of each unique moment.
