Collectively composing and jointly developing ideas with invited instrumentalists has provided important impetus for tonally idiosyncratic new works in the process of the four-year laboratory. A series of premiere compositions has been created for Adapter, a well-known ensemble from Berlin, which in their combination of flute, clarinet, harp and percussion offer a counter-model to chamber music ensembles from Beethoven’s time, supplemented by electric guitar, accordion, double bass, etc.
