Bergama Stereo Performanceprogramm

DJ-Battle Lippok Bros. vs. Nicolai Bros.

4 turntables, 2 mixer, 1 dancefloor, 1 jury, 1 price
To celebrate 20 years of Works of Music by Visual Artists, the brothers Nicolai and Lippok will once again compete against each other: Who will play better, who will get people more into the mood and move? The artists are subjected to the strict judgement of a jury.
Bergama Stereo
Performance program
In Bergama Stereo, an architectural installation with sound, the Istanbul-based artist and musician Cevdet Erek references the form, the historically attributed function and the ongoing reception of the Pergamon Altar, now located in Berlin, and creates a new interpretation of the famous Hellenistic edifice. The exhibition marks the 20th anniversary of the series “Works of music by visual artists” and is accompanied by a performance and concert program.
A coproduction by Freunde Guter Musik Berlin e.V., Nationalgalerie – Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, and Ruhrtriennale. Funded by the German Federal Cultural Foundation, with support by the SAHA Association.
