Artiom Shishkov

plays J.S. Bach and Steve Reich

Backlash Music presents Artiom Shishkov performing:

J.S. Bach, Sonata No. 3, BWV 1005

Steve Reich, Violin Phase

J.S. Bach, Ciaccona from Partita No. 2, BWV 1004

A concert to mark Backlash Music's first release "Bach 29-01-18". The recording features violinist Artiom Shishkov performing solo works by J. S. Bach. Using only one take for each piece, the result presents compositions recorded in their entirety, not patched together from a myriad of takes. For a great read on the recording's unique process and approach, see www.backlashmusic.net/artiom/
