Today, many things look as if artistic visions of the 1950s and 1960s have become reality: Technology is potent, convenient, mobile, readily available and
affordable, and it dictates social dynamics. Sound has become the leading cultural medium. Young people all over the world are fulfilling themselves by playing with audio technologies. We want to talk to pioneers of electromusical action and knowledge, not to nostalgically turn away from the present, but to harness their critical views for our own critical discourse on today’s criteria of creative quality.
