KONTAKTE '22 – Festival für Elektroakustische Musik und Klangkunst

After performances in Melbourne and Zagreb in 2019, the Female Laptop Orchestra (FLO) continues their collaboration with the Japanese dance artists Fumi Tomioka, Aki Kawashita and Hiromi Hijikata, exploring telematic music-making inspired by movement and made possible by the internet. For the performance at KONTAKTE ’22, a selection of dance videos depicting “the landscapes inside and outside of us” will be streamed to Berlin, mixed with the locally and remotely produced sonic textures of flute, trumpet, cello, piano, percussion, live electronics, voice and soundscapes, mixed and spatialised.
