The intermedial works in the exhibition negotiate sound in an installative, performative and graphic way: from sound installation, painting in connection with spoken word, musical graphics, notated listening and video documentations to the performance of current compositions. The intercom as image or metaphor not only plays with the multi-layered, interdisciplinary communication between the artists themselves and other actors in Berlin, but also thematises the interactions with the visitors.

For the finissage, the Ensemble Maulwerker will perform works by Ann Noël, the Ukrainian composer Karmella Tsepkolenko & Gisela Weimann and let the Haus Kunst Mitte and its courtyard resound with their series "Places & Spaces".
