ENSEMBLEFEST Berlin 2026

The inaugural edition of ENSEMBLEFEST Berlin 2026 brings together fifteen established Berlin-based contemporary music ensembles for a three-day programme from 2 to 4 October 2026 at the former CANK department store in Neukölln. 

The focus is on the coming together of Berlin’s diverse ensemble scene, collective working practices, and exchange between musicians, composers, and audiences. The participating ensembles represent a wide range of aesthetic approaches and work across different genres such as contemporary music, Echtzeitmusik, improvisation, vocal music, trans-traditional music, music theatre, and everything in between.
