Calendar

All events entered in the online concert calendar will automatically appear in the concert calendar of the field notes magazine. Submissions received after the editorial deadline will only appear online. Workshops, talks, and conferences can be entered in the calendar for professionals.

Event Recommendations (Feldfund)

If you want us to announce your event in the print magazine you can send a request by completing this form with all relevant information about the event by the respective editorial deadline. Please, make sure to also enter the event in the online calendar.

Selection of Contributions

The editorial team reviews all contributions and decides which ones will appear in the print magazine based on the overall picture. It is important to us to present a balanced overview of concerts in the magazine's editorial section. We particularly look for a balance between contemporary music, music theatre, sound art, improvisation or real-time music, and electroacoustic or electronic music. We also ensure that different performers are presented throughout the issues. Special attention is given to performers from the independent scene. Additionally, the field notes magazine aims to reflect diversity in its program.
We ask for your understanding if your event cannot be included. If you have entered your event in the online calendar by the editorial deadline, it will at least appear in the magazine's calendar section with a brief description. Alternatively, we would be happy to include your event in our newsletter or in our Facebook communications.
