Yasmina Al-Qaisi - The Emotional Technician
The emotional technician walks through the programs of the exhibition as an observer, creating an experiential audio documentary of the festival. The emotional technician is questioning art, cries in installations, checks the sentimental temperature of all art workers, and appears rather unexpectedly in the purgatory between being audience and artist herse.
Alejandra Cardenas -A Body Like a Home
Following acclaimed collaborations with Laura Robles (Agua Dulce) and Titi Bakorta (Mapambazuko), Peruvian experimentalist Alejandra Cárdenas—also known as Ale Hop—presents her lastest album, “A Body Like a Home”. The project is a sonic memoir where songs and poems map the fraught terrains of trauma, recovery, and love. At the heart of the album is Cárdenas’s voice—part witness, part confessor—over layers of electric guitar, electronic textures, and evocative field recordings; channelling years of turbulence—intergenerational scars left by colonialism, racism, domestic violence, and alcoholism—into a work that oscillates between brutality and tenderness.
To amplify the album’s emotional gravity to the stage, Cárdenas will debut the material playing live for the first time in atrio formation, with Biliana Voutchkova on the violin, and Ignacio Briceño on the guitar.
DJ GIN
GIN’s upbeat set shaped by the pace and energy of London’s Black Queer dancefloors will weave in high energy genres of music from Boyoun, Soca, Dancehall, to Bounce, Broken-beat, Footwork and electronic music. Influenced by Carnival Soundsystems, and London Queer Nightlife, the performance serves as both a release and a containment of cultural memory, tracing the relationship between Caribbean musical traditions, rave and club culture, and queer diasporic life in London in its varied and beautiful forms.

The DYSTOPIA Sound Art Biennale, organized by the artist-driven initiative Errant Sound e.V., has invited over 120 artists since its first edition in 2018 to explore the immanence of dystopian and utopian imaginaries in sound art and listening practices.
Inspired by the concept of spiral time, the performance program features artistic ventures navigating the friction between body, performance, memory, and the production of knowledge.
