Ollín, the Nahuatl word for movement, is a live performance for ceramic instruments, performers, and electronics. Rather than accompanying movement with sound, Ollín treats the body as a generator. As the performers move, they activate the hydraulic systems inside a series of ceramic instruments, causing their internal whistles to sound. These vibrations are captured with microphones and transformed into an evolving sonic landscape, composed live by the performers Siet Phorae, Francesca Mariano, and Vica Pacheco.

The DYSTOPIA Sound Art Biennale, organized by the artist-driven initiative Errant Sound e.V., has invited over 120 artists since its first edition in 2018 to explore the immanence of dystopian and utopian imaginaries in sound art and listening practices.
Inspired by the concept of spiral time, the performance program features artistic ventures navigating the friction between body, performance, memory, and the production of knowledge.
