On the Road: an egg

“an egg” is a title that I (Emmanuelle Bernard) have given to this programme for this occasion. I like it because, in its connection to the concert, one can find many fitting meanings, but also a certain absurdity – which I rather like. Is it a game? Not only that. Phone calls from different places, situations where nobody is calling, a meeting place, a rendezvous – it could be any of these things!
This is the 9th concert in the “On the Road” concert series. Violinist Emmanuelle Bernard, who launched and curated this series three years ago, is now celebrating the end of a cycle full of spontaneity, reflection, dedication and imagination through music.
