Licht im Klangschatten

»Licht im Klangschatten« presents video and sound art, photographic prints and digital kinetic works in an interdisciplinary dialogue between image, sound and space. The pop-up exhibition serves as a prelude to an evening concert performance.

The artworks range from manipulated cathode-ray televisions, through laser-based imaging techniques and quadraphonic sound to distorted moonscapes, imagery that exceeds sensory perception and assumes the perspectives of microorganisms. The pieces belong to Holistic Notation Studies series – score-based compositions that extend notation beyond its conventional boundaries to encompass light, new media, electroacoustic music, classical instruments and performance. Alongside the works themselves, the scores are also exhibited.
