Gorgone

The duo GORGONE, composed of Andreas Voccia and Céline Voccia, combines elements of historical and contemporary sound. Céline Voccia plays the church organ, while Andreas Voccia uses a modular synthesiser to generate electronic sounds. In their abstract improvisations, they merge the sound characteristics of both instruments, resulting in music that is spontaneous, detailed, and texturally diverse. Their pieces are structurally complex and dynamic, often departing from conventional rhythmic patterns. The result is a multi-layered auditory experience that encourages attentive listening and reflection.
