Forms of access: tactile sound, listening, live audio description

As part of Ren Loren Britton’s exhibition Deixis & Needs, the multi-sensory listening session brings together contributions by sound artists Nguyễn + Transitory and DJ ezri_dax who each respond to the exhibition’s audio work. Activating the installation of floating balloons as resonant bodies, the session expands the sound piece into a collective experience of vibration and resonance, working with creative audio description in writing and doodling from Jingyun Li. The artists engage with Ren Loren Britton’s exploration of voice, change and transition, creating new layers of meaning through sound in real time.
