Bubu sees itself in the tradition of acoustic jazz of the 1950s and 1960s. At the same time, there are no strict boundaries, neither in the compositions nor in the free improvisations. The trio presents original pieces—sometimes lively and cheerful, sometimes reflective, melancholic, or even heavy.

Some things are not taken too seriously, while others perhaps a little too much.
