Benefizkonzert für Menschen mit ME/CFS

In this concert, held as part of Jazzwoche Berlin, Berlin-based jazz and improvisation musicians come together to explore, through improvisation, the musical space of their own compositions as well as Jewish and Christian liturgical music. In doing so, they bring to life the unique space of the Jazzschloss in Berlin-Westend with its special acoustics and atmosphere. They use occasion to raise awareness of the situation of people affected by the severe neuroimmunological disease ME/CFS and to collect donations for ME/CFS research and improved care for those affected.

The Jazzschloss building, i.e., the cemetery chapel of Luisenkirchhof II, stood empty for many years until pianist and composer Antje Rößeler revitalized it and established it as a rehearsal and concert venue. This concert is one of the currently rare opportunities to experience this special place.
