Dylan Peirce – Pindrops (Digital In Berlin, LP/digital)

It was only a question of time until Kiezsalon organiser Michael Rosen would add a label to his portfolio and the 15th birthday of Digital In Berlin provided a fitting occasion. The Polish composer LOUFR and the sound artist Dylan Peirce presented their first two releases at the end of the month for an edition of Kiezsalon. Where the former works with noise, manipulated vocals and elements from dance music, Berlin-based artist Peirce pursues a meticulous and yet sweeping approach on »Pindrops«, using disparate sound events as source material for tension-laden dynamics.
