The Covid-19 crisis doesn’t only affect performing musicians, it also shakes structures of the music industry. Live music clubs are under the threat of closing and festivals are forced to reinvent themselves.

What is the current situation for international festivals? Their organisational scale, long-term planning and international networks aren’t really compatible with short-term Corona regulations. How to curate a program in pandemic times where culture isn’t classified essential? What are the creative strategies and visions for the future?

We’re looking forward to an enlightening discussion with a few of Europe's finest Jazz Festival promoters, curators and networkers, presented by Nadin Deventer from Jazzfest Berlin.
