SAVIET/HOUSTON DUO was formed in 2019 to present a concert on the theme of Nature and Conservation as part of Sasha Waltz’s festival Zuhören. Recent performances include George Lewis’ The Mangle of Practice at Wigmore Hall; Constellations concert tour, with music by Catherine Lamb, Chiyoko Szlavnics, Michaela Catranis, and Saviet/Houston; and Feldman’s For John Cage, performed as part of Zeitströme Festival in Darmstadt. The duo premiered Rebecca Saunders and Enno Poppe’s Taste at 2022 Wittener Tage für Neue Kammermusik.
