We are back after a 4 month pause from our series, presenting original music and improvisation with long term collaborator Max Andrzejewski - there'll be seats in the house and we're streaming as part of Jazzwoche Berlin
Practically Married are Declan Forde and James Banner. Since 2015 they have collaborated with Vilde&Inga, Tobias Delius, John Hollenbeck, Max Andrzejewski, João Lopes Pereira, Jeff Williams and many more, and have become a regular fixture on the Berlin jazz and improvised music scenes. They also perform as part of other acts including the award-winning Rachel Sermanni, James Banner’s USINE, The Good Old Good Ones and have performed sold out shows at Spiegelsaal and Konzerthaus Berlin (with Fabiana Striffler and Mirna Bogdanović) and Leeds Jazz Festival in 2018. They curate a monthly series at Donau115 and have self-released 3 albums to date. Practically Married featuring Toby Delius & Max Andrzejewski: The Music of Herbie Nichols"" is planned for release in late 2020.
